Patricia Waits, M.Ed., LPC, LICDC-CS
Patricia Waits, M.Ed., LPC, LICDC-CS, earned a master’s degree in education from Ohio University in 1975. During her 40-year career working as a mental and substance abuse counselor in not-for-profit organizations, she has also served on many nonprofit boards. Patti’s past times are reading, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her pets, dog Lily and cat Rosie. The rest of her family consists of three adult children, Emma Ralstin (husband Nick Ralstin), Jeremy Waits (partner Jamie Finney), and Eli Waits. She is the very proud grandmother of Oliver Waits. Since becoming the programs coordinator at ADAMH in July 2009, she has used her creative writing skill, love of human beings and need to service others to compose many successful grants of which she is particularly proud of Promise House at Lutheran Social Services – Level Two Recovery Housing for Men. Although she’s made a huge impact at different levels of service, Patti is retiring in October 2020 but will continue to find ways to contribute to her community.
