Christie Torchia

In March 2021, Christie Torchia became a member of the Fairfield County ADAMH Board. She earned two bachelor’s degrees, one in German and the other in political science, from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree of business administration in finance and accounting from Regis University. When she is not directing client experience strategy service at PNC or serving as the secretary of the Board of Directors of Joseph’s Coat, she enjoys kayaking, boating, reading, hiking, and anything else outdoors. From Millersport, Christie’s family consists of her husband Jimmy, daughters Clementine and Bo, and Irish wolfhound Gary Busey. Christie and Jimmy also own the Hickory House in Gahanna. Humbled, flattered, enthusiastic, and excited to be an ADAMH Board member, Christie says, “I believe that finding a way to be of service in the communities where we live, work, and play should be something everyone thinks about. The pandemic created an even more dire situation for people everywhere when it comes to addiction and mental health issues, the fear and anxiety, the loss of income, resources, stability, health threats, and impacts for oneself or those close to us. I wanted to work with the already amazing members of the Board to promote healing, recovery, prevention, and treatment for our neighbors in need.”
